Prepayment discount
40% discount on the fee for credits paid on signing the activity plan
20% discount on the fee for credits paid at the time of credit registration in the Folia registry
Full fee for credits paid on retirement or transfer
When payment is due
At least 80% of the fee must be paid by the time credits are registered in the Folia registry, either in advance on signing the activity plan or on registration. The remaining 20% may be deferred to retirement or transfer. A credit can only be retired, transferred or used internally once its fee has been paid.
Folia does not require entry fees or fixed annual rates.

Use of the certification scheme, project management software, registry, and training on the use of MRV tools
Folia Premium
Standard fee services + use of flux towers for real-time direct measurement of carbon fluxes
Fees are marginal: each portion of the volume pays the rate of its own band.

A project generating 20,000 credits a year pays €5.00/t on the first 1,000 credits, €4.75/t on the next 1,000, €4.55/t on the next 3,000, and so on: €87,150 in total at the full rate, or €4.36 per credit. Paying 30% on signing the activity plan and 70% on credit registration brings the total to €64,491, or €3.22 per credit. Above 100,000 tCO₂/year, pricing is quoted individually.
This simulator does not constitute a contractual offer, nor an obligation to contract on the part of Folia, which reserves all rights to conclude contracts with interested clients.

Initial Assessment Service
The objective is to give the project operator what is needed to build the project on solid foundations and reduce the risk of early termination. The service includes: · Activity Plan Review · Monitoring Plan Review · Estimate of the quantity of credits that can be generated · Business case review · Support in the project implementation strategy · Dedicated Folia staff throughout the assessment phase. The assessment is a support service. It does not replace the certification audit, which is carried out by an accredited third-party body.
